Submissions
Paper Format: Please prepare your paper in English using the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) template, which is available here. Papers must be submitted in PDF.
Types of Submissions: When submitting a paper to LION12, authors are required to select one of the following three types of papers:
- Long paper: original novel and unpublished work (max. 15 pages in LNCS format);
- Short paper: an extended abstract of novel work (max. 4 pages in LNCS format);
- Work for oral presentation only (no page restriction; any format). For example, work already published elsewhere, which is relevant and which may solicit fruitful discussion at the conference.

When submitting a paper, authors will be asked to choose the general track or any of the special sessions organized within the conference:
- General track;
- Special sessions.
Important Dates
December 15, 2017 January 15, 2018: Paper submission (N.B.: NO other extensions will be granted!)
February 15, 2018: Author Notification
March 19, 2018: Camera ready for pre-proceedings, send all source files to Dimitris Souravlias

March 31, 2018: Registration opens
June 10-15, 2018: Conference
July 15, 2018: Submission of camera-ready papers, formatted according to Springer's LNCS guidelines
