The aim of the conference was to bring together the latest findings from the fields of archaeology, epigraphy and church history on the question of the beginnings of Christianity in Romania, but also to discuss the history of research and reception of this topic to date. The conference was followed by a two-day study excursion to the ancient sites on the Black Sea in Dobruja.
